Mr. Dunn has served as a supervisor at Bristol Tennessee Electric System, which included supervisory responsibilities for system engineers, assistants, marketing personnel, day and night dispatchers, and cooperative education students. Personally designed and specified the Blountville Primary Delivery point from TVA a 200 MVA 161/69KV electrical power substation with microprocessor based relaying, SCADA monitoring and control, and motor control switch operators. He Supervised and served as Project Manager for 3-69/13kv, 20 MVA substations from 1989 to 1998. Staked and surveyed transmission and distribution lines with total station transit. Prepared system studies and assisted with bi-annual business plans. While working for SAIC serves as an Electrical Engineer and was responsible for the project management and supervision of SAIC employees for Goody’s Family Clothing, Sevier County Electric System, Lenoir City Utilities Board, Loudon Utilities, Bristol Virginia Utilities Board, Elizabethton Electric System, and Nashville Electric Service. The projects included recloser coordination studies, Y2K assessments, electrical substation operation manuals, power quality analysis for industrial customers, testing procedures for automated switchgears, generator and transfer switch specifications, UPS installation diagrams, and State Highway line relocation projects. Recently completed Arc Flash studies for Sonoco, EdFinancial, Ryerson Tull, Maremont, Melaleuca, Big Rock, Morris Coupling, CH Guenter, Lear Industries, Suburban Manufacturing, VA Clinic, and Fuji Film. Participated and served as the Professional Engineer for portions of the Guardian Project and Expansions and specifications of emergency generation facilities for Columbus Ohio. He is a graduate from Tennessee Tech University with a BSEE and a MBA from East Tennessee State University. Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee, Alaska, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Texas.
